Meet Erik, CRC Powell's New Manager

Everyone, meet the new manager of our Powell store, Erik Pritschau. Erik is here to help you make your next run/walk/workout better than the last. Get to know him below!
Where are you from?
45min east of Cleveland, in a small town called Perry.
What is your running/running store background?
I have been running since 6th grade, and I have worked in a running shop for almost 5 years. I am really excited to now be a part of the CRC clan!
What are your top 3 product selections?
My go-to running gear would have to be my Saucony Freedoms, a bottle of Nuun, and my CEP compression sleeves.
What is your go-to piece of running apparel?
The one piece of apparel that I have had for almost 5 years now is my Saucony running hat. The thing is falling apart but I run with it for almost all of my runs! Also, I almost always run in my New Balance split shorts (the more leg the better, right??)
Where is your favorite place to run in Columbus?
I am still checking out all of the running hot spots in Columbus, but as of right now I really enjoy going out to Prairie Oaks Metropark for some of my runs.
What is your favorite part about working at CRC?
From the moment I stepped through CRC's door, I have loved the CRC atmosphere! Whether someone comes in to shop or just talk about the latest running news, I love the welcoming community that CRC has always provided!
Favorite book?
As a true Ravenclaw, the Harry Potter series is definitely my all time favorite book series. Aside from that series, I love running and sci-fi books(that usually keep me from sleeping due to how good they are.)
When you're not running or at work, where can we probably find you?
When I'm not running or at CRC, you can probably find my girlfriend and I checking out the new bars and restaurants around Columbus!
Favorite post-run drink?
Post summer runs you will almost always find a Market Garden Lemon Shandy. This drink comes pretty close to my favorite Nuun flavor (Orange Mango), but I'm still testing out which one is more hydrating!
