HOKA ONE ONE Fly Collection: Cavu and Mach

Footwear Launch Hoka One One

I believe I can fly...

I believe that I can touch the sky...

Have you heard of the Hoka brand but been too shy to try on some oversized cushion shoes? Well Hoka has heard your thoughts and released a brand new line just for you!

CRC knows that not every shoe you get is used exclusively for running. Sometimes you want to use them in the gym. Sometimes you want to just walk around and feel stylish. This new line of shoes takes care of those factors while still providing premium cushion and comfort.

Hoka Cavu

The Cavu is the lightest in weight out of the new line, weighing in at 8.2 oz for men and 6.6 oz for women. The shoe features a neutral, responsive platform and has a 4mm heel-to-toe drop, which gives a performance-like feeling if you want to get up on your toes or use it for gym workouts.

Running wise, the outsole offers a great coverage of RMAT rubber to increase durability and enhance traction. The shoe also has a bit softer cushioning in the heel to help protect on impact and a bit more firm foam in the front to help with push-off. The price point of the Cavu sits nicely at $110.

Hoka Mach

The second shoe from the new Fly line is the Hoka Mach. This shoe is also a very responsive feeling option, but offers runners a touch of support on their run due to the widened base. The Mach offers a knit-like upper, which makes for a sock-like fit. The outsole also features RMAT rubber to enhance durability and improve grip. The Mach weighs 6.7 oz for women and 8.2 oz for men with a 5mm heel-to-drop. The Mach has a price point of $140.

Both of these shoes are perfect for the runner who wants to do more than just run in their shoes and you can find both at your local CRC! And be sure to join us for an 8 a.m. group run featuring the Hoka Mach and Cavu on Saturday, March 24 at the Dublin CRC.
