The ASICS GEL-Cumulus 20 enters its 20th year of production and CRC is glad to have this trustworthy neutral option back in stock. Overall, the fit has changed for the better and features a few new upgrades.
Brand New Mesh Upper. The upper material on the toes is what we're most excited about. Past models haven't had the most consistent or best fit in the toebox, but this version fits great and the jacquard mesh material adds a bit of breathability.
New Outsole Design. The rubber on the bottom of the shoe features a new configuration to better flex with your foot and ensure the most smooth ride possible.
Bounce Bounce Bounce. This version of the GEL-Cumulus also adds in a small layer of more responsive and bouncy foam immediately under your foot. The rest of the midsole uses the new ASICS Flytefoam for increased durability and cushioning.
One thing we've noticed is that the back of the heel is a bit more fitted than previous versions. If you've been looking for a shoe that slips less off of the back of your foot then this should be one to add to your list.
