A glimpse at the professionals who will be making the
night memorable:
Carrie Gloudemans
Carrie is a regional sales representative for Mizuno USA. She knows
everything about Mizuno and the technology used to make their product so
valuable. She is active athletically, with her background stemming from
a college career as a gymnast for Nebraska. Be nice to her, she's the
one with the free outfit.
Natalie Sawyer
Natalie Sawyer was trained by Jonny Kest in Detroit, MI at
the Jonny Kest Center for Yoga and is a Registered Yoga Teacher through
Yoga Alliance (RYT 200). Rooted in Ashtanga Yoga, Natalie’s teaching
style goes beyond the traditional and encourages students to practice
from a place of authenticity and joy using powerful breath and flow.
Skilled at making the practice accessible to all levels, and by using a
blend of the traditional and contemporary, Natalie creates an
environment in which students can begin exploring the deeper levels of
yoga while tapping into their physical strength and flexibility.
Natalie is also a runner, and it was a running injury that helped her
discover the cross-training benefits of a yoga practice. As an athlete,
Natalie is specialized at gearing yoga asana specifically toward a
runner’s needs in order to help maximize performance and balance the
stress that training demands on the body and mind.
Yoga can increase endurance, strength, flexibility, balance and focus. A
specific yoga practice targeted at key muscle groups utilized by running
can save you from injury and mental and physical burn out. These two
workshops are for athletes who want to supplement their training and
learn how to make their training regime less taxing on the body.
Krista Seibert
Krista is a famous local runner. If you don't know the name, you've
probably seen the face. She has been a high school and adult coach,
teacher, mother of four, and more - but most of us know her as a runner.
She has helped many beginners in TNT train for events while fundraising,
and she does a lot of running herself. She has run sub 2:50 in the
marathon a few times - all while juggling all else in her life. On
top of being a great person and friend we love seeing at the CRC, she is
a great inspiration!
The Columbus Running Company Owners, being all
gentlemen, will not be in attendance. Instead, if there are any
boyfriends or husbands looking for something to do while their woman is
enjoying 'her' time, please join us at Buffalo Wild Wings for some
traditional man time. They've expanded their draft list and Thursday
night is sixty-cent boneless wing night.
Contact the store
here to reserve your spot and hopefully receive
your free gift!
