Welcome to the Downtown Dash, part of
Pickerington's Violet Festival! Formerly the Violet Fest 5k, the
race has been moved to Friday night. All participants will lead
the way for the parade as thousands cheer you on! The new course
has also been shortened to two miles. Proceeds from the
event benefit the Pickerington School District XC programs.
Mark your calendar! Gun goes off on Friday, July 24th, 6:45pm.
Registration fees:
$20 through July 23rd - Register by July 10th to be guaranteed a
shirt.
$25 Race Day
You may register online here, at any Columbus Running Company
location, or via the mail in entry form.
Race Number/Shirt Pickup:
Race number and shirt pickup is available beginning Wed. July
22nd and ending Friday, July 24th, 2pm at the Pickerington
Columbus Running Company location. Address is below. You may
also pick up these items on race day prior to the event. Allow
for extra time if waiting until race day. The race will start at
6:45 if you are ready or not!
Race day registration is at the start line - Pickerington
Central high school.
Course:
The course begins at Central High School. You'll follow the
parade route as it curves its way back to near the start. Wave
to the crowd!
