July 2010 Tat of the Month

Pete Gottfried  - Hermes meets Rock n' Roll, Buffalo, NY 

We at the Columbus Running Co. believe that we are all born to run. A select few, however, were born to get a great tattoo and be crowned champion of the nationally recognized Tat of the Month contest.  Pete knocks off two birds with one stone, as not only does Hermes rule his work, his favorite rock 'n roll artist makes the cut. If you don't know who that is by looking at the tat, well you'll just have to look it up. Be sure to listen, cause its a great song! Below is Pete's submission with the picture. After, check out the other great work submitted this month.  There is some great stuff there.

 "I have been training for my first half marathon and vowed if I finished the race, I would treat myself to a tattoo. Well, I succeeded. My tattoo is the Greek God Hermes (or Roman God Mercury) along with a banner paying tribute to my favorite musical artist. The tattoo was done by Chris Lombardi at Hand f Doom Tattoo in Buffalo."
