October 2009 Tat of the Month

Michelle Roy -  Conquering Athlete, MA

Well we can say that here in Columbus there aren't many boulders to go running over. So we enjoyed the picture of that trail run! Here is what Michelle had to say about her tattoo:

I started trail running 4 years ago. My tat means "By Endurance We Conquer." It is a celebration of my commitment to the sport of trail and ultra running as well as how I have dealt with serious health issues during last two years. I run a 15 to 100 mile race pretty much every weekend from March through the first week of December.

I included 2 pics from the Escarpment trail race I ran..I ran this race 5 days after completing the VT100 mile endurance race in under 28 hours : ).
