Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 9:00am Join us for the Red-Tail Run, a 5k run and walk and 10k run designed with Ohio Wildlife in mind! All proceeds benefit the Ohio Wildlife Center and Ohio native wildlife.

Voted the Other Paper's best charity event of 2006!

The run and walk will begin and end at the Ohio Wildlife Center's Wildlife Conservation and Education Facility, located in the Shawnee Hills area near Dublin, Powell, and the Columbus Zoo. Directions can be found here. The course is fantastic. The race will take runners and walkers through the semi-rural setting of southern Delaware county just north of Shawnee Hills, and will be followed with food and awards. Participants will also receive FREE admission to OWC's annual WildFest which will be held the same day from 10am until 4pm. Cost (Both 5k and 10k):
Pre-registration, thru 9/27: $20
Regular Registration, week of race: $25

Race packets can be picked up at the Columbus Running Co. Dublin location beginning Wed. before the race.  *All registrants will receive a water bottle made from recycled Aluminum and a t-shirt.

The awards will take place around 10:30am, once everyone has finished the race. Overall male and female as well as male and female age group awards will be handed out. Age groups consist of U19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
