We invite you to join us for the Plain City Four Mile
Run/Walk on Saturday, September 24th, 2011 at 8am. The event is
co-sponsored by the Masonic Lodge of Plain City and the Uptown
Plain City Organization and facilitated by the
Columbus Running
Company Charity Fund.
Once again we are doing the
Kids Fun Runs! There
will be a one miler option (suggested ages 10-14) and a four
hundred meter dash (9&U). Both races will be at 9am following
the four miler. The cost is $5 and $2, respectfully. All
finishers will receive a medal for their efforts. Youth are also
able to do the regular run or walk if they prefer. There is NO
online registration for the Kids run. Please sign up at the
event.

This flat, four mile course will take runners through
historic Uptown business district, Pastime park, and the surrounding
neighborhoods of the village of Plain City. Here is a map of the course:

Early registration is $25. After September
16th regular registration is $30. This includes a tech shirt and
any other promotional materials. Online and mail entry options
are above. Race day registration will open at 7:00am and close
at 7:45am, so please arrive accordingly.
(NOTE: Kid Fun Run registration continues until 8:45am.)
You may also pick-up packets at the Columbus Running
Company Dublin location from Wed, September 22nd through Friday, September 24th.

All proceeds will contribute to the charitable efforts of the Plain City
Masonic Lodge and Uptown Plain City Organization. The Urania Lodge #311
of Plain City has been supporting charitable efforts since 1859 as a
part of the greater Free & Accepted Masons of Ohio. The UPCO is a local
non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and revitalization
of the historic Uptown Plain City business district. The Run/Walk will
be facilitated by the
Columbus Running Co. Charity Fund, a non-profit
organization operated by the Columbus Running Co. owners and members of
the local running community. The Charity Fund volunteers it's services
to ensure a great event for the running and walking community and
greater profitability for the charity involved.

From Columbus: Take 270 to the North West Side. Take 161/33 West. Exit
the highway at the 161/Post Road split, and continue on 161 West into
Plain City. At the light in the center of town, take a right. The park is on your left.
