How you can help us make Strides for Hope:
We encourage and appreciate your pledges/donations! Each and every dollar is important as we raise funds to increase awareness and promote education.

Corporate matching Funds:
Your company/Organization may participate in this wonderful opportunity to increase your pledge and donation dollars. Contact your Human Resources dept at work and ask them if you can apply for corporate matching funds.

Special Donations:
Honor a survivor or remember a loved one with a donation of $250 or more. This special donation includes printing the name you choose on the t-shirts for the walk/run. Please let us know if this is in honor of or in memory of and the name as you wish it to appear. Deadline for names and donations is 8/28/2009 for this special donation.

Volunteer Opportunities:
Volunteers are always needed and encouraged. If you or someone you know would like to volunteer for the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Ohio, please contact our Volunteer Chair, Angie Lang, at volunteer@ovariancanceroh.org.

Featured this year at our Walk:
Childrens Activity Tent (adult supervision required)

Survivors Tent- Survivors, come relax and enjoy talking with other survivors. There will be a survivor group photo at 8:15 AM at the terrace of the Community Center.

Wall of Honor- This portable wall was created last year to honor survivors and to remember loved ones. If you would like to include a personal item, please bring it on race day. Please limit the size to 8.5 by 11 or smaller. All items become a permanent part of the display and cannot be returned.

Teal Store- Various items will be offered for suggested donation on Race day. 25% or more of the proceeds benefit the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Ohio.

Team T-shirt Contest- Design a t-shirt to show your team spirit! If you have a team t-shirt that your team will wear on the day of the race, please provide one to us for display in the team t-shirt contest area. The t-shirt that receives the most votes (in terms of dollars raised) will be our winner and honored on our web site. The t-shirts will not be returned, and we ask that you please reserve the color teal for our survivors.

Honorary Mums- We will provide mums for a $10 donation that will be displayed along the finish line with the name of your loved one included.
