WELCOME to the One Thousand Dollar High School Mascot Challenge!

Here is what your team can win - all while having a great time together and getting in a good run!
1st place Team: $700 for their program
2nd place Team: $300 for their program
3rd - 8th Place Teams: Free merchandise such as spike bags, stickers, etc.
Best mascot Reward* (as voted by CRC staff): $300 gift card to the CRC 
*Best mascot reward will be rewarded to someone other than the 1st and 2nd place teams.

The Rules

Rule #1: Every team must have a mascot. A sweet mascot. The mascot must run the race. The mascot can be a student, coach, or parent.  You can't just wear a bandana and call it a mascot. Represent and make it legit!
Rule #2: Every team must have AT LEAST 10 people on their team. You can have 52 people on your team, but not just 8. These people must be athletes on the team, coaches, parents or siblings of students on the team. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please bring a form of I.D.
Rule #3: You can register for the race and onto a team online here, through this mail-in entry form here, or at the Columbus Running Company in Dublin.
Rule #4: Have fun! Kick back with the bands and our friends at BW3's. Awards for winners of the challenge will take place at the party.

How you win: The mascot runs as fast as possible. We will record the mile time of the mascot during the race. For every other person on the team to finish the race, we will deduct 10 seconds off their teams mascot. So....

Your mascot finishes the mile in 7 minutes.
Your team has 10 people finish the race, including the mascot. 10 people x 10 seconds = 1 min. 40 sec.
Your teams overall time is 5:20. You may have just won $700 for your schools cross country team!

The winning team will be announced at the after party at Buffalo Wild Wings.  Even if you don't win, your going to have a great time with your team, the CRC, and the running community!

SIGN UP NOW. Coaches, contact the store to register your team name as soon as possible! You don't need to have your roster complete before registering your team, people can sign up for your team once it's registered!
