The family event is designed to raise funds and awareness for
Nationwide Children's Hospital's Muscular Dystrophy Research
Institute, where Megan Schlaegel dedicated much of her time.
The event features a large four
mile loop that starts and finishes at Cental Crossing High
School in Grove City. At the same time we will host a 1.5 mile
walk using a different loop course that starts and finishes with
the four miler. Both events begin at noon.
Megan was an avid runner whose
last race was the CRC Charity Fund's Trot for Tots event in
Dublin, to benefit the Children's Hospital. She ran on a team
called the 'The Freezing Hotties' with the same friends and
family behind putting on this new event in her honor. Our goal
is to create an entertaining event for runners and walkers of
all abilities and ages- which benefits Children's Muscular
Dystrophy Research.
All registrants will receive a
unique candle and holder. Results and free pictures will be
posted here shortly after the event.
