JANUARY RUNNING TAT OF THE MONTH Leslie Dillon,
Leslie had already won CRC
co-owner Eric's heart over as she brought another XC
All-American plaque home to his alma mater of DePauw this past
fall. Now she's sealed the deal with co-owner Matt as she
brings home the Tat of the Month honors, etching her place in
CRC lore.
Leslie decided on the tattoo because she "wanted a way to remember how hard I have trained and what I have been able to accomplish in the ten years I've been running." Now that she's a senior, it seems the sentimental aspect of the sweat, blood, and tears that comes with training hard with close friends at DePauw is setting in. Like most hip youngsters her age, she hopped on the internet and began searching for that perfect image to brand her body with forever. She pooled together some leftover birthday money and an old check from her parents marked 'School Books' in the memo. After cashing the check, she followed the stench due east on Highway 40 right into Terre Haute. She walked into a tattoo parlor, handed over the image and pointed to her hip, right where her running shorts split. She walked out a new woman forever. We hope her new tat helps to bring resounding success this upcoming track season! Congrats to Leslie on earning a $15 gift certificate to the CRC and to Evolved.
