Joel Grenfell -  Marathoner Revived

Joel has been running since 1982. I think CRC owner Eric Fruth was still in diapers at the time.  Needless to say, Joel has been around the block and it's wise to listen to your seniors.  Up until last November, his last marathon distance race was in 1985.  That's right about the same time Daniel LaRusso won his first Karate tournament.  Since then he has kept up his running, however it took him 23 years before he set out on the marathon journey once more.

November of '08 he completed the Philly marathon, and inked his return with the nice art above.  He followed it up with the Ocean Drive Marathon in the spring of '09, and is gearing up for NY this fall.  While his marathoning continues, he claims he is done with the tattoo's.  We'll see.
