Columbus Running Company is taking donations for Haiti now! We collect used shoes year round, primarily for a connection we have in Ghana.  However due to the recent tragedies in Haiti, we are sending boxes of shoes there for the next couple weeks.  As requested by Lifeline Christian Mission here in Westerville who services a Haitian orphanage and school, we'll also be collecting peanut butter and canned meat. If possible, please drop off at any CRC location the following: - Used athletic shoes, with the laces tied together. If possible, please clean and dry them. - Peanut butter or canned meat (tape a quarter to the top of the jar to help with shipping costs). - Monetary donations are acceptable, with checks made out to Lifeline Christian Mission. We will be sure to promptly get them where they need to go. Worthington Kilbourne High School and Perry Middle School are also participating.
