January 2009 Tat of the Month

Thanks to Greg 2009 has started off on the right foot. We proudly present the first tat of the month champion of the new year, a unique submission from Alabama.  It's the second champion from the state in the last three months!

"Hi guys, my name is Greg Oliver. I live in Birmingham, Alabama. I've enjoyed looking at your collection of running tattoo pictures. I just got one today (second tattoo, first with a running theme) and thought I'd share it with you.

The roman numerals are, of course, the number 26; representing the miles of a marathon. And there's one dot for each marathon I've completed. Since I ran my first one five years ago, I've wanted a permanent commemoration, and
I finally got it today! If and when I do more marathons, I'll just add another dot at a time!
