NOVEMBER RUNNING TAT OF THE MONTH

Our tat of the month has come upon yet another truly original design as we wind down the 2007 list of tats. Carrie got this done at a small shop in Indiana back in 2005. "I was visiting a college friend for a couple days. I had gone to the shop with her for her first tattoo, so I thought it would be cool to get my tat while I was over there visiting her." Good friends are hard to come by, Carrie, and so are good tattoo's, have your friend send it over, ok? Hopefully it has to do with running.

Carrie's original design was a clock running away with the hands lying on the ground, a reminder to just live life. "Don't live like the hands are always ticking away; just break free, run free!", Carrie reiterates. When she took the design in, the artist suggested having the legs running after the clock. Obviously laid back, Carrie went along. "It still fit the original intent," she says, "but it gets misinterpreted sometimes. Most people think it means I'm running so fast I run the hands off the clock." While she can go with the interpretation, and wishes she really was that fast.

"It's my body, so I figured it should be my design...however that came out!" That's right, Carrie, and we are happy you shared it with us.
