The Westerville Central High School Cross Country teams invite you to the second annual Buckeye Bash! This race is designed with the community in mind, as well and getting a run in before the Buckeyes bash Michigan! The Columbus Running Company Charity Fund is providing help with the 5k run/walk. This event is organized to raise funds for the Westerville Central Cross Country teams.

We are hoping for an exciting morning of running, walking, music, and fun leading up to the OSU / Michigan football game! Our hopes are that the streets are ringing with cheers and songs like Across the Field and Hang on Sloopy! This event will serve as a fundraiser for Westerville Central’s Cross Country Teams as well as Columbus Running Company’s Charity Fund.

There is a 5k run/walk and a kids run (8&U). The 5k run/walk will start and finish at Westerville Central High School, and be run on neighborhood roads in the surrounding community. The kids run will take place near the finish line with a start time of 8:25am.

Entry Fees: $15 early or on race day. Kid's race (8&U) is only $5.

Packet Pickup: We encourage you to pick up your shirt and race number at the Columbus Running Company Westerville location during regular business hours, beginning Wed, November 19th through Friday the 21st. The address is at the bottom of the page.

Awards: Top 3 overall Male and Female finishers and Mugs to the top 300 Finishers. Age group awards to top 3 as follows: 19&U, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Finishers in the Kids Run will also receive awards!

Keeping in line with the CRC Charity Fund mission, the only group to profit from the race is a charitable cause.
