Paying it Forward
The Dublin City Schools Alumni Association serves as a unifying force in the Dublin community and provides alumni with a point of contact for activities. The Association is also a funding source for the Dublin Education Foundation which funds grants for programs that impact students at every level in the district. The Alumni Association is hosting this year's 5K to honor the Rozanskis, a Dublin family.
This year’s race proceeds will go towards both the Dublin Education Foundation and The Nick Rozanski Memorial Foundation, an education fund. Capt. Rozanski is a Dublin Coffman graduate who was killed in action in 2012, supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
On Saturday October 13, the 5k run/walk starts at 9:00 am, while the quarter mile kids run/walk starts at 8:45 am.
Packet pickup for pre-registered participants will be at Columbus Running Company's Dublin location on October 11 and 12 during normal store hours.
